The present invention provides an extract that is extracted from cordyceps militaris for inhibiting bone erosion caused by bone metastasis. The extract may effectively reduce bone erosion due to the prostate cancer. The prostate cancer is likely to transfer to bone tissue, resulting in pathological fracture caused by serious erosion in the bone tissue of the transferred part. In addition, for the elder or amenorrhea women, bone related diseases are apt to occur because excessive activation of osteoclast reduces the amount of bone content.
