The invention relates to a saw chain for a cutting device of a tree-handling device, which saw chain (10) includes links (20) connected to each other by connector elements (19), in such a way that the saw chain is an endless chain loop, which can be arranged to circulate in a groove (22) arranged in a rotatable guide bar (11), and, as the links, tooth links (21), each of which include a cutting tooth (13) protruding sideways to one side of the outer circumference of the saw chain, and drive links (12), which are to be arranged in the groove of the guide bar on the inner circumference of the saw chain. In the saw chain, the consecutive tooth links are mainly always connected directly to each other by a single drive link.
