PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating mushroom culture medium waste including: decomposing, extracting and eliminating harmful substance from mushroom culture medium waste sterilizing the mushroom culture medium waste inactivating mushroom growth-inhibiting substance and appropriately drying the culture medium, so as to regenerate the mushroom culture medium waste as a new mushroom bed.SOLUTION: The method for regenerating mushroom culture medium waste which is a flow type, includes: subjecting the mushroom growth-inhibiting substance included in the waste culture medium to hydrolysis treatment in a liquid phase obtained by continuously feeding saturated steam to the mushroom culture medium waste so that the saturated steam comes in contact with the mushroom culture medium waste so as to be concentrated further raising the temperature of the saturated steam fed by heating from outside to obtain dry steam whose steam saturation degree is reduced to 100% or less extracting and eliminating the harmful substance and/or the mushroom growth-inhibiting substance in the mushroom culture medium waste by the dry steam and further drying the mushroom culture medium waste.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】廃きのこ培地から有害物質の分解、抽出除去、滅菌、きのこ生育阻害物質の不活化、及び、適宜乾燥させ、廃きのこ培地を新たな菌床として再生する方法を提供すること。【解決手段】廃きのこ培地の流通式再生処理方法であって、廃きのこ培地に飽和水蒸気を連続的に供給し、該飽和水蒸気が廃きのこ培地と接触することにより凝縮して得られる液相において、廃きのこ培地中に含まれるきのこ生育阻害物質を加水分解し、更に、外部から加熱により供給された飽和水蒸気の温度を上昇させることによって蒸気飽和度が100%以下に低下した乾燥水蒸気を得、該乾燥水蒸気により廃きのこ培地中の有害物質及び/又はきのこ生育阻害物質を抽出除去し、更に、廃きのこ培地を乾燥させることを特徴とする、前記方法。【選択図】図2
