PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental chair, which can be shifted to a medical care position automatically only by operation that a patient seats on a contour seat, which does not need operation of the patient such as rotation of a waist and raising legs during getting on/off the seat, which allows an elderly or physical handicapped person to easily get on/off it.SOLUTION: A leg rest 18 of a dental chair 100 is disposed so as to be inclinable with respect to a contour seat 15, and the contour seat 15 and the leg rest 18 are disposed so as to be rotatable with respect to a back rest 16. The dental chair 100 comprises: a drive mechanism 40 for inclining the leg rest 18 with respect to the contour seat 15 and a drive mechanism 30 for rotating the contour seat 15 and the leg rest 18 with respect to the back rest 16.
