PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new production technique for providing a crayon which is based on raw materials obtained by domestic production, utilizes e.g. color tones of safe and secure vegetables being harmless to humans and cattle and eaten daily and has a familiar color.SOLUTION: A production method of an edible crayon comprises mixing an edible coloring agent powder with an edible liquid oil (1) to prepare an edible coloring agent paste (2), mixing an edible pigment with an edible liquid oil (3) to prepare an edible pigment paste (4), charging the edible coloring agent paste and the edible pigment paste into a heat-molten edible wax (5) and mixing together (6) to form an edible crayon molten liquid (7), pouring the edible crayon molten liquid into a die (8) and cooling gradually (9) and hardening the edible crayon molten liquid in the die and releasing the resultant edible crayon from the die (10).
