PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device and a start control program for enabling a user to surely confirm a caution sentence without delaying an application start time.SOLUTION: A medical device includes a user session part 33 and an authentication control part. The user session part 33 starts a plurality of application programs when starting the medical device. The authentication control part independently operates in parallel with the start processing of the plurality of application programs by the user session part 33. The authentication control part allows a display part to display a caution image including a caution sentence, and when accepting a finish-reading confirming operation indicating that the caution sentence has been confirmed via an input part from the user, permits the login of the user.
