PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants-type disposable diaper, which prevents its waist part from getting sweaty and offers comfortable fit when applied, and also allows to be easily torn off at a joint part where side edges of a front body and a back body are joined when taken off a wearer after use.
SOLUTION: The pants-type disposable diaper comprises the front body, the back body, and a crotch section positioned between the front and back bodies. Opposite edges on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the front body and those of the back body are joined to form a waist opening and a pair of leg openings. Stretchable elastic members are arranged along at least a part of each of the openings. A cutout is formed at at least one place of the side edges of either/both of the front body and the back body. The front body and the back body are not joined at the place where the cutout is formed.
