PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper preventing the legs from being caught thereby when being worn, having underwear-like external appearance and capable of reducing a feeling of resistance of wearing the diaper.SOLUTION: A diaper 1 includes a crotch part 1C, a ventral part 1A, and a dorsal part 1B. The diaper 1 includes: end edges 1At and 1Bt extending in the width direction Y at end areas 1Ae and 1Be in the longitudinal direction of the ventral part 1A and the dorsal part 1B respectively and side edges 1Ct extending in the longitudinal direction X, at side edges 1Cs in the width direction in the crotch part 1C.
