PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus capable of substantially shortening a time for an image formation process.
SOLUTION: This medical image diagnostic apparatus includes a collection means. An image processing units stores a preprocessing section and a reconstruction section. This medical image diagnostic apparatus includes a plurality of image processing units. A specification means specifies each of the plurality of image processing units to selectively actuate one or both of the preprocessing section and the reconstruction section. A dividing means divides data collected by the collection means into two or more partial data. A transmission means distributes the two or more partial data acquired by the division to an image processing unit which is specified to actuate the preprocessing section, and distributes the two or more partial projection data generated by the preprocessing section of the image processing unit receiving the distribution, to an image processing unit specified to actuate the reconstruction section.
