PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for cleaning the tooth surface which has no risk of damaging the tooth surface and can clean the tooth surface without physical stimulation due to a brush or the like.SOLUTION: The first aspect of the invention is a composition for cleaning the tooth surface which contains water and a basic substance, has a pH of 12.5-13.5, and substantially contains no abradant.
