PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preventive, therapeutic agent or food containing polypeptide effective to Helicobacter pylori.
SOLUTION: The invention relates to the composition comprising a polypeptide as an active component, obtained by treating whey or solution of the dried whey with proteases and the polypeptide has 1-20 kDa of molecular weight. The composition links with the surface layer component of the Helicobacter pylori and having adhesion suppressing action and desquamative action to the Helicobacter pylori.
