PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in positioning and shape fitting of a heart in an X-ray CT apparatus that scans the heart at multiple timings with different contrast effects.SOLUTION: A scan mechanism 10 supports an X-ray tube 16 and an X-ray detector 18 rotatably around a subject P in order to scan the subject P with an X-ray. A storage part 52 stores a target breathing level at the breath-holding time of the subject P. A breathing instruction part 40 uses the target breathing level to instruct the subject P to breathe. The storage part 52 stores a target heart rate or target breath-holding elapsed time at the start timing of scanning by the scan mechanism 10.
