PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope having a configuration capable of easily narrowing the diameter of a curved part without making the distal end side in an insertion direction longer than the curved part in the configuration of fixing the end part of an outer blade to a connection part.
SOLUTION: The endoscope comprises: a curved part 22 a distal end part 21 a connecting member 160 for connecting the curved part 22 and the distal end part 21 a curved part distal end hard part 139 a pipe-like member 300 a rubber tube 141 whose distal end is fixed to the outer periphery of the curved part distal end hard part 139 by a bobbin 146 and an outer blade 140 put on the outer periphery of the rubber tube 141, whose distal end is fixed to the outer periphery of the pipe-like member 300 by a bobbin 145. At the part of the pipe-like member 300 where the distal end of the outer blade 140 is fixed by the bobbin 145, a tapered surface 300s inclined from the bobbin 145 to the bobbin 146 is formed.
