The invention relates to a seat belt arrangement for a motor vehicle having: a seat belt (11)； at least one sensor (12). According to the invention, the sensor (12) is provided in a recess (13) in an inner side (110) of the seat belt (11) which faces a user (2) of the seat belt (11). According to another aspect, the invention relates to a seat belt arrangement in which the sensor is provided at least partially in an opening in the seat belt formed by deformation of a portion of the seat belt. The invention also relates to methods for producing a seat belt arrangement.
