PURPOSE: A functional feed composition for meat eating chicken containing acanthopanax koreanum nakai is provided to improve the productivity of the meat eating chicken, and to reduce the death rate of the chicken. CONSTITUTION: A functional feed composition for meat eating chicken contains a feed admixture including general purpose mixed feed, acanthopanax koreanum nakai stems, and acanthopanax koreanum nakai roots. The shipper rate of the meat eating chicken fed with the feed composition is greater than 97%. The monthly death rate of the meat eating chicken fed with the feed composition is less than 4%.본 발명은 육계에 적용할 수 있는 기능성 사료 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로 본 발명에 따른 육계용 사료 조성물은 1) 범용 배합사료, 및 2) 탐라오갈피 줄기 및 탐라오갈피 뿌리를 포함하는 사료 첨가제를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 육계용 사료 조성물은 육계용 닭의 사육시 생산성이 우수하고 폐사율이 낮은 특성이 있다.
