PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vortex ring generator for local air-conditioning capable of making an air vortex ring reach a far target with a distance of 10 m or more and feeling wind pressure.SOLUTION: An air vortex ring generator includes: an opening nozzle configured to generate an air vortex ring； a body including an inner chamber in which the opening nozzle is arranged its tip part and air to be discharged is stored therein； and a compression unit configured to compress the inner chamber to a rear end part of the body and push out air from the opening nozzle.
