SOLUTION: An absorbent article is disclosed in which many slits S are formed on a top sheet 30, while an elastic expansion/contraction member 31 is fixed in the state where they are stretched with respect to the slits S non-parallel, and a part in the top sheet 30, having an elastic expansion/contraction member 31 contracts as the elastic expansion/contraction member 31 contracts, so that the slits S are widened and opened as transparent holes.
