To solve problems for example, shears used in trimming for horticulture and pruning work are shears for trimming and pruning, however, weak points of these shears are for example, excessive force is required for pruning a branch on a position separated from a spindle, or thick branch cannot be easily sandwiched if the thick branch is at a close position.SOLUTION: There are provided pruning shears configured so that, shapes of a reception blade 2 and a cutting blade 1 are formed into a curved shape curved in a same direction, by the shapes, a branch to be cut is hardly released to a tip side (pushing force for pushing the branch to be cut by the reception blade and the cutting blade is applied), as the features of the present invention, as the method for hardly releasing the branch to be cut, the cutting blade 1 is compressed to the reception blade 2, and the branch is compressed to a side and the branch is pulled to a near side, and the thick branch can be also easily cut even at a tip side position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
