PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions, preferably cosmetic compositions, for keratin fibers which can prevent or reduce deterioration of keratin fibers without bad odor by conventional keratin fiber permanent transformation methods, and to provide methods for transforming keratin fibers, preferably cosmetic treatment method, which can prevent or reduce deterioration of keratin fibers without bad odor by conventional keratin fiber permanent transformation methods.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a composition containing oleuropein or at least one kind of Olea europaea L. leaf extract for transforming, particularly curling, keratin fibers, as well as to a method and use of oleuropein or Olea europaea L. leaf extract.
