PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nursing care-assisting device which can be used as a device for moving a person who requires nursing care and a walking assisting device and can lower the load of a care giver and the person when using the former device.SOLUTION: Columnar supports 11 extends from above a carriage part 10 in an oblique direction. An upper body supporting part 13 has two arm parts 13a for supporting an upper body of the person who requires nursing care and two connecting parts 13b for connecting the arm parts 13a and the columnar support 11, and a protruding length of the connecting parts 13b from the upper part the columnar supports 11 in the oblique direction can be adjusted. A seat part 20 has: interposing members 21 which can move in a vertical direction by a lifter 30 and which are provided with two plate-like bodies 23 having distal end parts 23e the thickness of which is reduced as going to the distal ends TE and supporting members 22 for supporting such that the interposing members 21 can move between a first position for moving the person and a second position for assisting walking.
