The cosmetic composition for suppressing sebum comprises catechins and kaempferol derived from green tea leaf, wherein the catechin is selected from (-)EGCG(epigallocatechin gallate), (-)GCG(gallocatechin gallate), (-)ECG(epicatechin gallate), (-)CG(catechin gallate), (-)EGC(epigallocatechin), (-)GC(gallocatechin), (-)EC(epicatechin), (+)EC(epicatechin), (-)CA(catechin) and (+)CA(catechin).
