The disclosure relates to a drug delivery device for mechanically dispensing a dose of a medicament. The drug delivery device includes a ratchet mechanism adapted to emit an audible and/or tactile feedback during dispensing the dose of medicament. The ratchet mechanism includes a flexible arm and a toothed profile. A free end of the flexible arm is configured to engage with the toothed profile and to perform a relative rotational movement thereto during dispensing the dose of medicament, thereby generating the audible and/or tactile feedback, and the flexible arm extends in a plane parallel to a rotational axis of the flexible arm.
