A quality control method or quality control system for measuring a lubricant coating on the inner surface of a syringe barrel is provided. The timing of quality control is not sensuous, it is very important for patient safety. The test before filling is for syringes lubricated with oil (without empty or chemicals) before filling. This prefilling test should be carried out within a certain time frame immediately after lubrication. The post-fill test is for syringe lubricated with filled oil and filled with solution. This post-fill test should be performed after a certain time period has elapsed since filling the solution.
