PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight of the proximal end portion of a catheter sheath device.SOLUTION: The catheter sheath device 10 has a sheath section 20, a hub 30, and a connector 40 equipped with a valve. The catheter sheath device 10 also has an inner cavity into which a catheter tube can be inserted and which is caused to penetrate through respective inside of the connector 40 equipped with a valve, the hub 30, and the sheath section 20, in that order from the proximal end side. The hub 30 has a hollow base body 32, grip sections 34, and a branch tube 36. The grip sections 34 are formed as flat-plate-shaped or blade-shaped members and are fixed on the distal end side of the hollow base body 32 along the generating line of the outer peripheral surface of the hollow base body 32. The branch tube 36 branched from the hollow portion of the hollow base body 32 passes through the inside of one of the grip sections 34.
