The invention relates to a prosthesis (10) comprising teeth (14), particularly ready-made teeth, and a prosthetic base (12), made of a gingival material, having cavities (20) for teeth (14), in which cavities the teeth are mounted, particularly fixed by gluing, wherein the prosthetic base (12) is produced by a CAD/CAM method forming the cavities (20) for the teeth (14), and cervical areas of the teeth (14) penetrating the basal surface (18) of the prosthetic base (12) are removed, particularly ground off or milled off.
