A lavage catheter for the treatment of a maxillary sinus is described. The catheter comprises a proximal portion and a distal portion. The distal portion comprises an irrigation tip. The irrigation tip has a tip opening through which fluid may be delivered by one handed operation of the catheter. A method for lavaging the maxillary sinus includes inserting the lavage catheter into a patients anatomy and advancing the irrigation tip into the maxillary sinus using one hand.Se describe un catéter de lavado para el tratamiento de un seno maxilar el catéter comprende una porción distal y una porción proximal la porción distal comprende una punta de irrigación la punta de irrigación tiene una abertura de la punta a través de la cual puede suministrarse fluido al usar el catéter con una sola mano un método para lavar el seno maxilar incluye insertar el catéter de lavado en la anatomía de un paciente y hacer avanzar la punta de irrigación al interior del seno maxilar con una sola mano.
