The present disclosure provides a topical nanoemulsion formulation comprising: Polyoxyethylenesorbitan monooleate (Tween 80) Sorbitanmonooleate (Span 80) Paraffin Oil water and one or more calix[4]arene compound of formula (I). (I) The present disclosure also provides a process for the preparation of topical nanoemulsion formulation comprising: dissolving one or more calix[4]arene compound of formula (I) in paraffin oil to obtain a solution adding polyoxyethylenesorbitan monooleate and Sorbitanmonooleate to the solution to obtain a mixture stirring the mixture to obtain a stirred mixture and adding water to the stirred mixture to obtain the topical nonemulsion formulation. The present disclosure further provides a method for skin decontamination by using topical nanoemulsion formulation of the present disclosure which can be effectively remove and/or decontaminate skin contaminated by s- block elements, d-block elements & p-block elements excluding Noble gases.
