PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate gripping of an end part by a hand when the other end part in a lateral direction on a front waist part is pulled to the other side and upward.SOLUTION: There is provided an absorbent article 1 having a vertical direction, a lateral direction and a cross direction. The absorbent article comprises: a front waist part 20 along a lateral direction a rear waist part 30 along a lateral direction to form a waist opening BH on an upper side of a vertical direction in cooperation with the front waist part 20 and a crotch part 10 provided below the front and rear waist parts 20, 30, and provided between the parts 20, 30. One end part 20eW1 in the lateral direction of the front waist part 20 and one end part 30eW1 of the rear waist part 30 are jointed. The other end part 30eW2 in the lateral direction of the rear waist part 30 has an engagement part 40 which can be engaged to the front waist part 20. The other end part 20eW2 on the front waist part 20 has a part 20eW2pa protruded to the other side relative to a center part 20eW2c in a vertical direction of the same end part 20eW2 on an upper position of the center part 20eW2c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
