PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform treatment comparable to that by an oral endoscope by a nasal endoscope as well without complicating operations.
SOLUTION: The assisting tool combined with a nasal endoscope which has an insertion section 16 to be inserted through one nostril is included. The assisting tool has an insertion section 112 to be inserted through the other nostril. On the distal end of the insertion section 16, magnetic bodies 105 and 107 are provided. On the distal end of the insertion section 112, electromagnets 118 and 119 are provided. For the assisting tool, the distal end of the insertion part 112 is arranged side by side with the distal end of the insertion section 16 of the endoscope and is connected by magnetizing the respective electromagnets 118 and 119 to the respective magnetic bodies 105 and 107. Thus, since the soft part 115 of the insertion section 112 is curved following the curve of a curve part 21 accompanying the curving operation of the endoscope, the operation is prevented from becoming complicated even when assisting the function of the endoscope using the assisting tool together.
