The present invention relates to a wheel chair with a detachable driving device which includes a driving device (600) coupled to a general manual wheel chair to be detachable and capable of driving a wheel. The driving device (600) comprises: a battery box (610) which is installed at the lower portion of a seat to be detachable； a motor (620) which is provided at the rear of the battery box (610)； a driving roller (630) which is connected to a rotation shaft of the motor (620), and transfers driving force to a tire of a wheel (100)； and an auxiliary roller (640) which is installed to come in contact with a rim (200) of the wheel (100) to interact with the driving roller (630). According to the wheel chair having such configuration, the driving device can be easily detached from the wheel chair. Since a relatively heavy driving device is installed at the lower portion of the seat, the gravity center of the wheel chair can be made sufficiently low, and it is possible to use the wheel chair with a higher stability.본 발명은 통상의 수동 휠체어에 분리 가능하게 결합되고 상기 휠을 구동시킬 수 있는 구동장치(600)를 포함하는 분리 가능한 구동장치를 갖는 휠체어에 관한 발명인데, 상기 구동장치(600)는, 좌석의 하부에 분리 가능하게 장착되는 배터리 상자(610), 상기 배터리 상자(610)의 후방에 구비된 모터(620), 상기 모터(620)의 회전축에 연결되어 휠(100)의 타이어에 구동력을 전달하는 구동롤러(630), 상기 구동롤러(630)와 상호 작용을 할 수 있도록 상기 휠(100)의 림(200)에 접촉되게 설치된 보조 롤러(640)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.상기 구성을 갖는 휠체어는 휠체어에 구동장치를 쉽게 착탈할 수 있으며, 상대적으로 무게가 무거운 구동장치를 좌석의 하부에 설치함으로 인하여 휠체어의 무게중심을 충분히 낮게 할 수 있어 보다 안정적으로 휠체어를 사용할 수 있다.
