PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the accuracy of a set of corresponding points specified by a user in a plurality of images.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus acquires a corresponding feature part of a subject in first and second images of the subject each captured on a different condition. The image processing apparatus then specifies a first point on the first image and a second point on the second image, and derives the degree of matching between the first point and the second point on the basis of a positional relationship between the first point on the first image and the feature part of the subject and a positional relationship between the second point on the second image and the feature part of the subject.
