To provide a building with a toilet space for pets which can achieve a measure against odors caused by excretion by pets without using a large scale device.SOLUTION: In a building 10, a toilet 12 for pets is provided to be adjacent to a living room 11. In the building 10, a central air conditioning system by an air conditioning apparatus 23 is introduced. The air conditioning apparatus 23 is connected to a blow-out grill 27 provided on a floor part 20 in a boundary part between the living room 11 and the toilet 12 for pets through a ventilation duct 26. In the toilet 12 for pets, an infrared sensor 21 for detecting the existence of a pet is provided. When the pet is detected by the infrared sensor 21, a fin of a blow-out louver 28 provided on the blow-out grill 27 is turned at an angle in an opening direction, and conditioned air from the air conditioning apparatus 23 blows out from the blow-out grill 27. As a result, an air curtain AC is formed in the boundary part between the living room 11 and the toilet 12 for pets, and the living room 11 and the toilet 12 for pets are separated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】ペットの排泄に基づく臭気対策を、大掛かりな装置を用いることなく実現可能なペット用トイレ空間を備えた建物を提供する。【解決手段】建物１０には、居室１１に隣接してペット用トイレ１２が設けられている。建物１０には、空調装置２３による全館空調システムが導入されている。空調装置２３は、通気ダクト２６を通じて、居室１１とペット用トイレ１２との境界部分の床部２０に設けられた吹出グリル２７と接続されている。ペット用トイレ１２には、ペットの存在を検知するための赤外線センサ２１が設けられている。ペットが赤外線センサ２１により検知されると、吹出グリル２７に設けられた吹出ルーバ２８のフィンの角度が開方向とされ、吹出グリル２７から空調装置２３からの空調空気が吹き出される。これにより、居室１１とペット用トイレ１２との境界部分にエアカーテンＡＣが形成されて、居室１１とペット用トイレ１２とを遮断する。【選択図】 図２
