A controlling method by utilizing centroid of a user is disclosed. The method is utilized for driving a vehicle for carrying the user. The method includes steps of: the centroid of the user moving in a moving area, wherein the moving area includes a plurality of sub-areas generating controlling information according to the sub-areas where the centroid of the user is situated, wherein the controlling information at least includes a direction signal and a speed signal and determining moving direction of the vehicle according to the direction signal and determining moving speed of the vehicle according to the speed signal.
