Among the embodiments, in particular, the present application provides mixed acidic salts of water-soluble polymer-drug conjugates, together with methods for their manufacture. The mixed acid salt appears to be stable and more resistant to hydrolysis than the corresponding mostly pure acid salt or free base form of the polymer-drug conjugate.
