FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, orthopaedics and is applicable in treating combined degree 1-2 pelvic and spinal deformities accompanying dysplastic-dystrophic syndrome. A method involves making physical exercises in water: at first, sensor-motor integration of lesser muscle groups of head, neck, hand, foot is stimulated then therapeutic swimming is prescribed for back and pelvic muscles with using a special device. A child is suggested to breath randomly with occasional exhalation in water a preparatory position is standing in water with holding a handrail in the swimming pool. The patent claim implies making the differentiated exercises in water for the purpose of stimulating each of the muscle group: glutei, lumboiliac, tensor muscles of broad fascia, hip adductors, back, side and front muscles. Total length of a procedure is 30 minutes the therapeutic course is 10 procedures. The device for implementing the method comprises a safety belt whereon there are fastened elastic straps (ES) embracing childs lower extremities with feet. The belt consists of front and back vertical soft-tissue safety straps (VS) used to place the childs body along its front-side and back-side surfaces. At the chest and back these straps are coupled by horizontal safety braces with clasps to fix the childs body in a cross plane. The back BSs are coupled at the hip joints from the back side by a cross belt with a clasp to adjust the length. The VSs are crossed in the lower body part at a superior end of iliac bone thereby forming loops, and clasped. There is a cross-up under a childs seat. The VS length is set by a length adjuster the ESs are centimetre marked out on ends and have clasps for length variation according to an underlying pelvic portion. The VS in their upper part are rigidly fixed on a hard bar with the child positioned at shoulder length, and coupled via a fastening rotation gear with a rope stretched across the swimming pool.EFFECT: method
