The invention relates to a medical device (10) for use in delivering a medical solution into the body of a patient, comprising: an elongated main body (20) defining a reservoir (22) for containing a medical solution； a longitudinal tip (40) extending axially and distally from the main body (20), the longitudinal tip (40) defining a fluid path (42) extending axially through the longitudinal tip (40) and in fluid communication with the reservoir (22)； and a gripping portion (46) formed on an outer surface (44) of the longitudinal tip (40), characterized in that the gripping portion (46) includes from three to eight ribs (48) integrally formed with the longitudinal tip (40) and extending around a longitudinal axis (A) of the longitudinal tip (40).
