PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable multipurpose port capable of moving to an arbitrary position in a space of a medical room.SOLUTION: A movable multipurpose port comprises: running rails 2 that are provided on a ceiling F in a manner of being parallel to each other in a horizontal direction a traverse rail 3 that is disposed between the running rails 2 and 2 and is provided to the running rails 2 and 2 in a movable manner a traverse slider 4 that is provided to the traverse rail 3 in a movable manner a cylindrical vertical axis cylinder 5 that is projected downward from the undersurface of the traverse slider 4 and has an open bottom end an up-and-down rod 6 that is inserted into the bottom end of the vertical axis cylinder 5 in a vertically movable manner a port body 8 that is attached to the bottom end of the elevating rod 6 and comprises a power receptacle a locking lever 9 that is arranged on the side surface of the vertical axis cylinder 5 and a braking mechanism that secures the traverse slider 4 to the traverse rail 3 through an operation of the locking lever 9 and also secures the traverse rail 3 to the running rails 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
