Also disclosed is a beverage comprising monomeric, trimeric and dimeric proanthocyanidins, wherein the trimeric proanthocyanidin content is 0.2-7.4 mg/L, and wherein the sum of the monomeric and dimeric proanthocyanidin contents is 1.0-11.0 mg/L, and wherein a content of the trimeric proanthocyanidin is at least a fifth of the sum of contents of the monomeric and dimeric proanthocyanidins, and wherein the beverage is a beer-flavoured beverage.
