A tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) for use in a method for the treatment of cancer in a patient, wherein the method comprises subjecting the patient to reduced caloric intake, i.e a daily caloric intake reduced by 10-100%, including starvation, for a period of 24-190 hours and administering the tyrosine kinase inhibitorto the patient during such period； the tyrosine kinase inhibitor is preferably selected among Lapatinib, Crizotinib, Gefitinib, Erlotinib, Afatinib and Regorafenib.L'invention concerne un inhibiteur de la tyrosine kinase (TKI) destiné à être utilisé dans une méthode de traitement anticancéreux chez un patient, cette méthode impliquant de soumettre le patient à un apport calorique réduit, c'est-à-dire à un apport calorique quotidien diminué de 10 à 100 %, y compris une privation de nourriture, sur une période comprise entre 24 et 190 heures, et d'administrer l'inhibiteur de la tyrosine kinase au patient pendant cette même période. L'inhibiteur de la tyrosine kinase est de préférence choisi au sein du groupe constitué par le lapatinib, le crizotinib, le gefitinib, l'erlotinib, l'afatinib et le régorafénib.
