The pharmaceutical composition includes at least one compound of the General Formula (I) or the General Formula (II) for administration to a subject for the prevention or treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.L'invention concerne des méthodes de prévention, de traitement et/ou d'atténuation du risque de développer une stéatose hépatique non alcoolique chez un patient nécessitant un tel traitement, ainsi que des compositions pharmaceutiques pour la prévention ou le traitement de la stéatose hépatique non alcoolique. L'invention concerne également des méthodes destinées à inhiber l'accumulation excessive de graisse dans le tissu hépatique. Ces méthodes consistent à administrer au patient ou à mettre le tissu hépatique en contact avec une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace d'au moins un composé de formule générale (I) ou de formule générale (II) : ou un des sels ou solvates pharmaceutiquement acceptables de ceux-ci.
