A method of treating a proliferative disorder or other pathological conditions mediated by the activity of Bcr-Abl, c-Kit, DDR1, DDR2 or PDGF-R kinases, comprising orally administering an effective dose of pyrimidylaminobenzamide of the formula (I): wherein (a) Py is 3-pyridyl ； R is hydrogen, (ness.) Alkyl, (ness.) Alkoxy (ness.) Alkyl, acyloxy (ness.) Alkyl, carboxy (ness.) Alkyl, (ness.) Alkoxycarbonyl (ness.) Alkyl or phenyl (ness. ) alkyl； R is hydrogen, lower alkyl optionally substituted with one or more identical or different radicals R, cycloalkyl, benzoce cloalkyl, heterocyclyl, aryl, or a mono- or bicyclic heteroaryl group containing zero, one, two or three ring nitrogen atoms and zero or one oxygen atom and zero or one sulfur atom, while these groups in each case are unsubstituted or mono- or polysubstituted； and R represents a hydroxy group, a lower alkoxy group, an acyloxy group, a carboxy group, a lower alkoxycarbonyl group, carbamoyl, N-mono- or N, N-disubstituted carbamoyl, amino group, mono- or disubstituted amino group, cycloalkyl, hetero a bicyclic heteroaryl containing zero, one, two or three ring nitrogen atoms and zero or one oxygen atom and zero or one sulfur atom, wherein said groups are in each case unsubstituted or mono- or polysubstituted； or where R and R together represent alkylene containing 4, 5 or 6 atom carbon o, optionally mono- or disubstituted (ness.) alkyl, cycloalkyl, heterocyclyl, phenyl, hydroxy group, (ness.) alkoxy group, amino group, mono - or disubstituted amino group, oxo group, pyridyl, pyrazinyl or pyrimidinyl； Ben1.
