PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide anti-Notch antibodies, and in particular, antibodies that bind to Notch2 NRR, and methods of using the same.SOLUTION: A monoclonal antibody that binds to Notch2 NRR is provided. In one embodiment, the antibody inhibits Notch2 activity. In another embodiment, the antibody does not significantly bind to Notch family other than Notch2. In another embodiment, the antibody binds to mouse Notch2 NRR and human Notch2 NRR.
