PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition that can continuously suppress the emission of bad odor originating in urine by effectively reacting with not only β-glucuronidase solved or dispersed in the urine but also β-glucuronidase within microorganism cells with a β-glucuronidase inhibitor.SOLUTION: The composition for suppressing the emission of urine odor contains the β-glucuronidase inhibitor and 0.01-10 wt.% of alkyl glycoside nonionic surfactant. A method for suppressing the emission of the urine odor applies the composition before the urine attaches to an object or before the urine dries after its attaching.
