The preparation involves washing the Ube and slicing it into pieces, boiling the sliced ube for 30- 49 minutes, straining, adding sugar and stirring to dissolve and boiling again for 30 minutes. After cooling, yeast will be added to the mixture and will be fermented for five to seven days after which it will be transferred in a gallon and will be left to continue fermentation for 30 days.
