PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting/imaging device including an image pick-up device driven by a rolling shutter method and capable of acquiring an image suited for detecting a visual axis, and visual axis detecting apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: The lighting/imaging device includes: a light source for applying detection light to the eyes of a subject； a light source control section for controlling the light source so as to exit the detection light for each prescribed period； and an image pick-up device in which a plurality of pixels are aligned in the horizontal direction and vertical direction. The lighting/imaging device further includes: an imaging body that acquires an image including the subject's eyes by driving the image pick-up device by a rolling shutter method； and an exposure control section that drives the image pick-up device for at least two frames with respect to single-time exit of the detection light by the rolling shutter method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
