A powder inhaler composition (DPI) according to claim 1, comprising particles with a diameter of 0.5-10 microns. A powder inhaler composition (DPI) according to claim 5, wherein the particle size distribution corresponds to the following range of values: X 0 0.5 μm, X 3 3 μm, and X 5 5 μm. A powder inhaler composition (DPI) according to claim 1, further comprising a beta agonist. A powder inhaler composition (DPI) according to claim 7, wherein said beta agonist is salbutamol, levalbuterol or formoterol. A powder inhaler composition (DPI) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, further comprising a carrier. A powder inhaler composition (DPI) according to claim 9, wherein said carrier is lactose, mannitol, glucose or polyethylene glycol. A method for producing beclomethasone solvate, comprising obtaining a suspension of (i) droplets containing beclomethasone dissolved in a solvent in (ii) heptane, and using ultrasound to treat the droplets to form a solvate. 12. The method of claim 11, wherein said heptane is n-heptane. A method according to claim 11 or 12, comprising drying the solvate particles by spray drying.
