The present invention relates to an endoscope cap (1) comprising: - a sheath (2) with a proximal opening and a distal opening (4) facing the proximal opening and having a shape flaring towards its distal opening, - an attachment means (3) suitable for attaching the cap to the distal end of an endoscope, with said proximal opening facing or surrounding the distal end of the endoscope, the wall of said sheath being made of a structure having sufficient strength to withstand perforation and/or incision by a sharp and/or pointed object. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing this cap, as well as its use in a process for extracting a foreign body.La présente invention se rapporte à un capuchon (1) d'endoscope comprenant: - une enveloppe (2) avec une ouverture proximale et une ouverture distale (4) en vis-à-vis de l'ouverture proximale et présentant une forme s'évasant vers son ouverture distale, - un moyen de fixation (3) agencé de manière à permettre la fixation du capuchon sur l'extrémité distale d'un endoscope avec ladite ouverture proximale en vis-à-vis ou autour de l'extrémité distale de l'endoscope, la paroi de ladite enveloppe étant réalisée en une structure présentant une résistance suffisante pour résister à une perforation et/ou à une incision par un objet pointu et/ou tranchant. La présente invention vise également un procédé de fabrication de ce capuchon, ainsi que son utilisation dans un procédé d'extraction d'un corps étranger.
