PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator which can be used even when a patient is at home and/or goes out (including moving in a vehicle).SOLUTION: The oxygen concentrator includes: a compressor for compressing raw material air and generating compressed air a cooling pipework for cooling the compressed air where the temperature is raised an absorbing cylinder for absorbing nitrogen from the compressed air and storing a catalyst to discharge concentrated oxygen a cooling means for cooling a compressing means and the cooling pipework by blowing and an oxygen supply amount setting means. The oxygen concentrator includes: a continuous supply mode for continuously supplying the concentrated oxygen and an respiration synchronizing mode for supplying the concentrated oxygen by synchronization with respiration. When the amount of oxygen supply to be set by the oxygen supply amount setting means exceeds a continuously suppliable amount, only the respiration synchronizing mode is set.
