PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can prevent sufficiently, urine leakage without deterioration of a wearing feeling even after urine absorption.SOLUTION: An absorbent article having absorbency is configured so that, a content of a high absorbent polymer included in an absorber is 0.1 g or more and 4.0 or less. The absorber comprises at least one slit in a longitudinal direction, the dimension of the slit is equal to or more than 1/3 with respect to a dimension of the absorber in the longitudinal direction. When the slit is divided into almost equal four parts, namely first section, second section, third section and fourth section from a front side to a rear side, the slit is formed of a front side end area formed of the first section, a center area formed of the second and third sections, and a rear side end area formed of the fourth section.
