An entranceway for crustacean traps and fish traps is disclosed. The entranceway includes multiple rigid or semi-rigid fingers (6) located within a housing (7) or housings. The fingers define a funnel-shaped or tube-shaped entrance to the trap when fishing, but can be folded back away from the entrance opening towards the face of the trap upon which the entrance is located, by rotating the fingers within their housings. This is advantageous for ease of access to the interior of the trap, enabling the emptying of its contents via the entrance opening or enabling the trap to be collapsed to its minimum practicable dimensions.
